RATCHET PULLER are divided into hand chain hoists, ratchet tighteners, and double hook tighteners.

(1) Hand chain hoists are mainly used to tighten various types of cables such as power and overhead lines, pull and move heavy objects such as equipment, and fix large equipment and goods during automobile transportation. Hand pulled  hoists can be driven in two ways: hand hoist and lever hoist. Hand  hoists use a pull ring chain to achieve tension and lifting, while hand hoists have a loop chain or wire rope. Lever hoists use a handle to pull the loop chain or wire rope to achieve tension and lifting. Hand pulled hoists can be used for lifting, pulling, lowering, calibration, and other operations. If special devices such as cable clamps are configured, not only can non-linear traction operations be carried out, but also suitable operating positions can be easily selected, or the load capacity of smaller tonnage machinery can be doubled. For larger tonnage loads, several hand pulled hoists can be used for parallel operations.

(2) Ratchet tightener, also known as ratchet lever hoist, is a tool used in the construction of transmission line engineering to tighten steel strands and small section wires. Usually, a wire clamp is used to secure the wire first, and then the wire is tightened to the appropriate sag using a wire ratchet puller.

(3) Double hook cable ratchet puller is a tool used during the construction of transmission line engineering to tighten cables, adjust the position of equipment or materials, replace insulators, and other ratchet puller processes. There are two types of double hook fasteners: steel and aluminum alloy. The former is heavier, but allows for greater load-bearing capacity, with a maximum capacity of 100kN for tension; The latter is lightweight, easy to carry and use, but the maximum load is generally not greater than 50kN

When ratchet puller using the , first loosen the steel wire rope or galvanized iron wire on the ratchet puller and fix it on the crossbar. Use a wire clamp to hold the wire, and then turn the dedicated wrench. Tightening devices can improve the safety of cargo transportation and lifting processes.
